The Explanatarium is an experimental website dedicated to providing a better understanding of what explanations are and, particularly, what makes for good explanations. The intent is not only to provide background knowledge of psychological research and philosophical theories, but also to foster interchange of good and bad examples and, eventually, to experiment with technology for automatically critiquing explanations to distill essential and confusing elements.
